Tonight we walked to the corner market to buy a snack. It was dark, but the park was lit by dim street lights and the moon. A group of older men and women were doing some form of tai chi, chanting to each other in the dark. Families walked down the long path; their children biking ahead, peddling furiously. Older couples walked slowly, holding hands. Wind blew through the trees. The humidity soaked into my skin. Frogs belted out the song of the night.
